What Is Qi Gong?
Qi gong is an ancient Chinese practice combining gentle movement, mindful breathing, and mental focus. Research shows it's remarkably effective for reducing stress and anxiety, lifting mood, calming the mind, and improving overall wellbeing including sleep quality and emotional resilience.
What You'll Experience
Morning Session (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM)
Welcome circle and delicious morning tea
Introduction to qi gong principles and breath work
Guided practice of foundational movements
Experience how your body's energy flows through intentional movement and breathing
Mid-Morning Break (11:30 AM - 11:45 AM)
Time to connect with other women
Herbal tea if desired
Wellbeing Session (11:45 AM - 1:00 PM)
Personal wellbeing goal-setting workshop using our HELIO model
H - Health, E - Engagement, L - Learning, I - Interconnection, O - Optimism
Learn how to integrate qi gong into your daily life
Take-home resources include:
Illustrated guide to basic qi gong movements
Personalised wellbeing HELIO action plan
Who This Is For
This workshop welcomes all women—whether you're new to qi gong or have experience. No special equipment, fitness level, or flexibility needed. Just bring comfortable clothing you can move in.
